Assoc. Prof. Akhil Garg is an Associate Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and an internationally recognized researcher at the intersection of artificial intelligence, battery technology, and sustainable energy systems. His research pioneers the application of machine learning, deep learning, and AI-driven optimization to battery design, thermal management, and new energy vehicles. Having collaborated with leading academic and industrial partners, including Rolls-Royce and HELLA Automotive, Dr. Garg has contributed significantly to intelligent energy technologies. He has authored over 240 peer-reviewed publications, leads multiple internationally funded research projects, and has been named to the Stanford/Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists List for two consecutive years.
