Van Duong Dao

Assoc. Prof. Van-Duong Dao is Vice Dean of the Phenikaa School of Engineering and Dean of the Faculty of Biological, Chemical and Environmental Engineering at Phenikaa University, Vietnam. His research focuses on renewable energy conversion and storage, including next-generation solar cells, photocatalysis, CO₂ reduction, lithium-ion and lithium-metal batteries, solid-state electrolytes, and supercapacitors. Before joining Phenikaa University, he held research positions at Chungnam National University, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, and the University of Hyogo. Assoc. Prof. Dao has been recognized among the Stanford/Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists since 2019 and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals in nanotechnology, energy, and materials science. His interdisciplinary research has made significant contributions to the development of sustainable energy conversion and storage technologies.
